Dr. Roger Pecina is the founder and owner of Afdent Dental Services. He graduated from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1977. He is a member of the American Dental Association and continues his education each year by attending advanced training seminars that involve cosmetic dentistry, crowns and bridges, dentures and partials, root canals, sterilization and staff management. This continual training allows Dr. Pecina to stay on the "cutting edge" of technology so that patients will continue to receive the best available treatment.

His main goal as a dentist, is to listen to the patient. By listening to the patient and hearing what their concerns, fears, and goals are, it helps him to better serve the patient as a whole, not just the area of concern on a specific day. Dr. Pecina is committed to caring for the patient in a fashion that allows the patient to see all treatment that is necessary, at an initial evaluation appointment, then assigning treatment to be done in order of importance. The patient is involved in the decision making process throughout the entire initial evaluation.

Dr. Pecina is married and has six children. He enjoys spending time with his family and traveling. He has practiced in the Mishawaka area over 30 years and is always making room for new patients, their family and friends.
